Currently in its 10th anniversary season, the St George Chamber Singers are a 40-voiced elite vocal chamber ensemble. Members are drawn from all areas of Southern Utah, including Cedar City, Hurricane, Ivins, Washington and St George proper. The St George Chamber Singers are led by Paul Wiens, who was the head of choral activities at Wheaton Conservatory just outside Chicago for 30 years. Upon retirement, he moved to St George and the Chamber Singers was formed. The Chamber Singers strive to provide Southern Utah with high quality and challenging repertoire including Southern Utah premieres of many works.
This season the Chamber Singers performed Handel's Messiah and are currently preparing a performance of the Brahms Requiem, which will be performed on March 28 and 29. Tickets are available through the Utah Tech Box Office
